Officially finals are over but me being the silly thing I am, have been sick for 3 weeks now with a cough. Which means not much of my life other than school has been taken care of. Life is staring at me right now and not very happy.

Therefore I will likely have to take a bit of an extend on my original hiatus until Monday the 21st. I have a bit of a final assignment to do this weekend (don't ask, my prof is a bit odd) and then I'd really love to kick my life into shape. So I'd like to take the weekend to do that.

Also, the weekend will be taken to get used to this cough syrup with codeine in it. No, I've never taken it before but it literally took me twice the time it usually does to write this.

Okay so finals ended Monday but then I uhhhhh found out right after that a police car backed into my parents' car on a highway at high speeds the day before.... yeah DC driving sucking as a rule is not only trufax but ENFORCED BY LAW.... and I'll be helping with their rehabilitation till I go back to campus for the spring semester, January 15ish. So in the meantime for fail incarnate here, I'll try not to start threads I won't be able to finish and if I do, heads up that I might be slow tagging, so feel free to drop them at your leisure too. Crew can generally assume he's doing whatever. Thanks o/

Hahaha I just got here and it looks like I'm going to have to call hiatus. I'm in retail hell and today begins my string of midnight closing shifts. So I'm going to have to pull Diva from the City for the next week. Possibly up to January 1st. We'll see how it goes.

Hey guys, listen up.

So, Wednesday I took a plane back to Spain to see my family over the holidays, and I didn't leave any note of hiatus because, basically, I was supposed to be back online by Thursday night. However, a lot of shitty shitty stuff happened--basically, my dad had a car accident on his way to waiting for me at the airport in Madrid (HE'S OKAY, THANK GOD), which means that I'm still not in San Sebastian at my parents' house yet. I'm at some family and friends somewhere where Internet is a problem, so, even though I didn't want to do it, semi-hiatus.

Semi-hiatus until, hopefully, this weekend:
Sakura, Tatsuki and Miranda will be on autopilot, and I leave the goddmodding rights to their crews. Hopefully I'll be back on time for this weekend. Sorry once again for doing this. I actually wanted to have less hiatus notes to have to leave this holiday, but--shit happens. I'll try to backdate when I get home, if you'll have me. ♥

I've run out of things to do, basically, and I need to step away from the game for a while. I'm not sure if this is a "for good" thing--I'd love to come back sometime--but...well, like I said. Chrono knew he was leaving (and, actually, meant to leave--he misses Rosette too much), so he baked cookies for all of his friends. Aion also gets a picture of the two of them during one of the child curse and the red scarf he bought for Chrono during that curse, with a note from Chrono wishing him well. Lilith has the keys to the bakery, with a note asking her to give the keys to someone who could use the building well. Anyone involved with the bakery has a note of apology with their cookies that he never quite got it open. YES. I KNOW. >>;

Ahiru had no idea she was leaving, so she hasn't left any notes behind, but she had been gathering up Christmas presents for all of her friends. Fakir has a picture of the two of them together in a nice frame (and, if he takes the picture out of the frame, he'll see that she's written "I love you!" on the back), and a really nice set of writing supplies. Rue has a ruby necklace. Everyone else, please feel free to assume something nice and appropriate for your characters--if she knew them, she'd want to get them a gift.

Second Character! That's it.

This is Kristi (inara's mun) bringing you a little known character from a series of YA books called The Morganville Vampire books by Rachel Caine. This guy is Myrnin. He's a very, very old vampire who has fits of crazy. He's also a genius, when he's not insane. It was the reason he was turned. Myrnin eats people but he doesn't kill them. He prefers fresh but will eat bottled/bagged/etc. When he's sane, he's relatively harmless. In general he believes that vampires should protect their food. Otherwise there won't be any food. When he's having a fit...the best option really is to get away. He can usually feel them coming on and he'll warn anyone in the vicinity to leave now.

He's like most vampires in the aspect that he can't really go out in the sun. However, he is old enough that if he wears a coat, wide brimmed hat and gloves he can take a brisk walk from one place to another without much more than a bad sunburn. Crosses and other holy objects don't bother him. Garlic is yummy and he can eat. He just doesn't very often. He's outgrown the desire to be human again. He's sarcastic and dry and teasing.

He'll be finding a place to set up a lab and he'll begin his experiments/work on building a computer that can make portals within the city (this was his life's work in the book). Of course it took him about 30 years to do build the first one so don't except it to happen soon. He will also be looking for an assistant to help him.

I'm really looking forward to playing him with you guys!

Thursday, December 17: So thanks to one Harry Dresden, Prince Nuada has decided you all need to learn that cutting down trees for Christmas has consequences. Really big consequences.

No actually the elemental he's unleashing will be only half that size but still aggressive! If you've seen Hellboy II: The Golden Army then you know what this green puppy can do. If not, I point you to the poorest video quality on all of youtube: it just smashes stuff all angry-like. He'll plant and water the seed at the base of a freshly cut pine tree discretely so no one will know he did it. However characters are free to suspect! The big mean green machine will then sprout in late morning, say 11:00am EST, and wreak havoc where the forest meets the edge of the urbanized part. Damage will be limited to just the forest area and less than a block into the city itself. In other words it won't get far but it'll smash and thrash enough to make Nuada's--er...its point. Taking the not-so-godlike-tree-god down requires only a shot the head, either from a Big Freakin' Gun, a cannon, a magic fireball, just something big. Decapitating it also works if your characters have that capability. In canon when this thing dies it turns its death area into a pretty blooming forest of lushness, but for this mini-plot when it dies it'll just cover where it lands with moss that can easily be brushed away.

So volunteers to take it down? Jadis the White Witch will be involved in putting a stop to it for awful PR purposes 8| A minimum of two and a maximum of five characters preferred!

Finals week is a harsh week. With my job it has left me little time to study. I'll tag when I can, but that's really it for now. I still have to finish my giant paper and several others plus the exams themselves. All in all things should be quiet and smooth for me around the 20th. So I'm hoping that yay, I'll dedicate more time. Just sort of waiting for my work load to, yanno... Lesson. Only affects Joshua.

I'll still be here but I just want to note that I'm going to be a little slow for the next few weeks. Maybe, or maybe just the next few days.
I've got a good case of RP burnout. My sleep schedule is also amazingly fucked up again and I just feel generally unmotivated to do crap. I need to sort out what RPs to keep and what ones to drop. I have one other one I want to app here too as well, ahaha... ha. :|

It is with deep, DEEP regret that I've decided to drop Sakura. I can't bring myself to care about tagging anyone with her or even answer any of the tags she already has. That plus zero ideas for journal posts = it's time to face the facts that I've lost the muse.

I feel the need to apologize and give everyone a quick update! I'm really lagging in some tagging (Ir rhymed!) with how busy the month has been. In the next couple of days I'll be traveling to my mother's for Christmas, too, so I won't be around much until I get there...probably around the 19th is when I'll pop back on and be a bit more active. I have some major backdating to do with my Kobato threads, so I apologize for that.

You'll probably still see me posting a bit to current ones...just to try and not get behind. But even that is slow while I get things ready and take care of others. I'll try and backdate with Kobato on the 17th before disappearing for a day or two. Just a heads up,because I don't want anyone to think I'm ignoring them. This will affect Yuuki, Tohru, and Kobato.

You might have noticed that I'm horribly failing at tags since Sunday. RL is basically eating me alive and it will continue to do so until Thursday. :/ Buuuuuut. I do not intend to drop threads over that, and will come right back to them then! (Will still try to get the odd tag in when possible...) Anyway, Thursday it should get better~.
